Wireless Charging — PD35W
My phone doesn’t charge wirelessly, or it stops after a few minutes. Why?
Three quick checks: (1) line up the phone’s charging coil with the center of the magnetic ring on the power bank; (2) make sure the phone case is MagSafe-compatible (contains a magnet ring) — thick, metal, or magnetic-card-holder cases can block charging; (3) if metal objects sit between the phone and the pad, the unit’s foreign-object protection stops output and flashes for 5 seconds before shutting off — remove the object and it will recover.
Wireless charging is slower than a cable. Is that normal?
Yes — this is a normal physical characteristic of wireless charging. Wireless output adapts in four steps (15W / 10W / 7.5W / 5W): iPhones charge at up to 7.5W wirelessly, while compatible Android models can reach 15W. The wired USB-C port delivers up to 35W. If you’re in a hurry, plug in a USB-C cable.
My iPhone doesn’t show the MagSafe pop-up animation. Is something wrong?
No — the pop-up animation only appears with Apple’s official MagSafe-certified accessories. This product is a compatible design: wireless charging for iPhone works fully, but the animation simply doesn’t display, which is expected.
The magnetic hold feels weak or my phone slides off. How do I get a stronger grip?
Align the phone’s magnet ring directly with the pad’s ring — hold is strongest when the two rings overlap. A naked phone or a MagSafe-compatible case gives the best grip; thick cases, magnetic card holders, and metal rings weaken both the hold and charging stability.
How do I read the battery level, and what do the icons mean?
The digital display shows the remaining charge as a percentage in real time — it counts up while the power bank charges and counts down while it powers your devices. The green lightning icon lights up when fast charging is active. At 5% the number flashes as a low-battery warning; the unit powers off automatically at 0%.
How long does it take to fully recharge the power bank itself?
With a 35W+ fast charger and a USB Power Delivery cable plugged into either USB-C port, a full charge takes about 1 hour 45 minutes to 1 hour 50 minutes. When full, the display shows 100% and the lightning icon turns off.
Can I charge my phone and earbuds at the same time?
Yes. When multiple ports are used at once, the unit automatically switches out of fast-charge mode and supplies a standard 5V output on each active port as a protection measure. For the fastest charging, use a single port.
Can I use wireless charging and a cable at the same time?
Yes. While wireless charging runs at 5W, the wired port can still output (5V/2A). This works well for scenarios like charging a phone wirelessly on the pad while a second device charges by cable.
Can the power bank charge my phone while it is itself being recharged?
Yes — pass-through charging is supported. When the power bank is plugged into power and connected to a device at the same time, it automatically enters charge-and-discharge mode. If you unplug the power source, it switches back to pure output without interrupting your device.
My device gets warm while charging. Is that safe?
Mild warmth is normal. This unit has built-in NTC temperature protection: above 111°F (44°C) it automatically reduces power (e.g., from 35W down to 22.5W), and it shuts down for protection if the temperature reaches about 126°F (52°C). The shell is always kept below 118°F (48°C). If the unit ever becomes too hot to touch or the shell bulges, stop using it immediately and submit a request — those cases get priority handling.
MagStand Go — C1055
Does the MagStand Go (C1055) support wireless charging?
No — the MagStand Go is a wired power bank (it has no wireless charging coil). Its signature feature is the built-in fold-out stand, so you can charge by cable while the phone stands on a desk or table.
How do I use the stand, and can I watch videos while charging?
Open the fold-out legs on the back and the power bank stands upright on any flat surface. Prop your phone against it (or rest it on top) and plug in the built-in USB-C cable — perfect for watching videos, video calls, or reading while you charge, hands-free.
What is the magnetic ring that sticks to my phone?
The included magnetic ring lets you attach the power bank to the back of your phone for easy carrying. iPhones with a built-in magnet ring can attach directly; for other phones, stick the included adhesive ring to the back of the phone or case first. It is a convenience feature and does not affect charging.
General — Both Models
Can I take my power bank on a plane, and is it safety certified?
Yes — with one rule: power banks must travel in your carry-on baggage, never in checked luggage. Both models are 10,000mAh (38.5Wh), well below the FAA 100Wh limit and compliant with IATA rules. Both are certified for the U.S. market: UN38.3 (transport safety), FCC, and UL2056 (the safety standard for power banks). Because airline rules can vary, double-check your carrier’s policy before flying.
How heavy are the power banks, and what are their dimensions?
Both are light enough for a pocket or bag. The PD35W magnetic wireless model measures 107 × 65 × 14.4 mm (4.2 × 2.6 × 0.6 in) and weighs about 193 g (6.8 oz / 0.43 lb). The MagStand Go (C1055) measures 105.5 × 68.5 × 22 mm (4.2 × 2.7 × 0.9 in) and weighs about 190 g (6.7 oz / 0.42 lb).
How long does the battery last, and how should I store it?
The polymer battery cells are rated for 500+ charge cycles (until capacity drops to 80% of the original). For long-term storage, keep the charge at about 50%, store in a cool, dry place (between 14°F and 104°F / -10°C to 40°C), and top it up roughly every 3 months. Avoid leaving it fully charged or fully drained for long periods, and keep it out of extreme heat.
